Sxill Lab: Wood making, terrazzo binding and much more!
Located in Hai D3, Dubai, Sxill Lab is a space that acts as a training company, focusing on experimental and vocational workshops. They provide art and craft services, and workshops ranging from barista learning skills to wood making and terrazzo binding. Their workshops are divided into three categories: vocational, experimental and self-developing. Each one is aimed at a specific target audience, allowing a limited quota to ensure that participants learn to the maximum potential. They also provide the proper arts and crafts textiles, paint, acrylic paint, paint brush, art supplies and much more!

Sxill Lab in Dubai offers multiple art workshops and art and craft activities from all different disciplines. Some require more physical work, while the others are more contextual. Some of their more intense, heavy load workshops teach all processes from scratch. For instance, during their wood art and wood making workshop, they began by teaching their participants a new design and fine art language, the CNC machine that prints large wood pieces. Then, the participants are carefully guided to gluing/drilling the individual pieces together and sanding it using a sanding machine. They additionally allow participants to take their own pieces home. Their terrazzo workshop, a visual arts activity, followed a similar strategy, where they teach participants how to operate machinery, cast concrete and aggregates and create a mold for the terrazzo to set in.

Thejamjar at Alserkal Avenue, located just across Sheikh Zayed Road, is a community art space in Dubai that caters for all age groups, making it the ultimate family-friendly spot.
