 Like other cities and suburbs in the UAE, it has a robust infrastructure, five schools, grocery shops, tailors, stationery shops, restaurants, and a supermarket. It is located beside the main road, surrounded by residential areas, schools, and dunes from the other side. Al Wathba Park is an example of the natural heaven of a forest in the middle of the desert. Once you enter the gate, you will be surprised by the stimulation of a wild garden. Al Wathba Park: Entrance

The park has two central areas, one for families (mixed) and one for females only. Entrance is free of charge to all visitors and is open daily from 7:00 am until 11:00 pm. 

Al Wathba Park: Public Utility 

The park provides appropriate public services you may need. It provides a large car parking area and two main gates for accessible entrance. At the main hall is a medium size mosque for Muslims and public toilets. You will also find a newly made library hosting over 30,000 books you can read or borrow. It offers a quiet place to study and closes at 8:00 pm. 

Each part of the park (Family & Females) includes several public toilets spread inside the parks. Several kids’ zone for playing. Wooden seats and tents, BBQ stations, not to mention the traditional palace, the gaze zone, the train, and the fountain area where you can have a seat. What else in Al Wathba Park?

You can have your picnic in any area. Host a BBQ night with your family. Walk around the place enjoying the fresh air and beauty of nature. Your kids can play non-stop with different game tools available. You can socialise with other people in the park who are friendly and a mix of locals and foreigners, but all share warm, lovely vibes. Some people give you a plate full of food, invite you to eat with them, or drink tea.

You might see Henaya, a professional lady who tours the park, asking people if they want to draw henna on hand for an affordable price. Some sell Bukhoor, a traditional incense in the UAE. 

Your kids can bring their toys with them. Bikes, scooters, and trainers are allowed, and there is a proper place to use them. Many people enjoy playing Badminton, and they may ask you happily to join if you pass smiling at them. 

Al Wathba Park is always one of the favourite places for many visitors to relax and enjoy simple moments with nature. Even during the summer, you will see people coming in the morning or the evening. The place gets crowded during winter, especially at weekends. Sometimes, you might see kiosks or mini-festivals at the main entrance area and food trucks, and the site looks delightful with the star-dot lights hanging from the trees around the place.
