Daikan
If you’re a fan of Japanese cuisine, especially ramen, you won’t want to miss out on Daikan, one of the best spots for ramen in Dubai. It’s located in the heart of the city in DIFC, you can also check our post on the best restaurants in DIFC. This post will cover a full review Of the atmosphere to the food, and the prices of the restaurant. There’s a lot to love about this restaurant.
First off, the environment at Daikan is very inviting and modern. The restaurant has a modern design that makes it a comfortable and stylish spot to dine in. The service is quite quick, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly, making the overall experience even better.
But let’s talk about the real star of the show – the food. The menu at Daikan is extensive, featuring a variety of ramen dishes that are professionally cooked and presented. Each bowl is made with fresh ingredients, and traditional Japanese techniques are used to ensure that the dishes are as authentic as possible. As for the dish I ordered, the spicy miso ramen, and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and delicious, especially the runny ajitima egg.
The prices at Daikan are reasonable, particularly when you consider the quality of the food and service. You’ll get your money’s worth, and you won’t be disappointed by the portion sizes either. Overall, Daikan is a must-visit for anyone looking for top-quality ramen in Dubai, amazing food, a modern authentic Japanese environment, and very reasonable prices. Definitely worth the visit if you are around!

Kinoya
Let me tell you about the MUST go to ramen restaurant, the best authentic ramen that won the Michelin 2022 award-winning restaurant: Kinoya! It is one of the unique and best ramen in Dubai that allows you to experience the informal Japanese dining experience.
The interior design is wonderful; from the minute we stepped inside, it felt as though we had entered a portal to Japan. The furnishings are made of wood and cotton, which together create a warm ambiance reminiscent of modest ramen shops in Japan. Warm colored dim lights and Foreign jazz definitely set the mood of a nighttime metropolitan atmosphere. Private seating is available in designated spaces. So definitely check out their website to book your table and get that Japanese experience.
Now let’s dig into the main dish, the shio paiten ramen broth was quite rich with flavors and the spices were on point. The menu has a page with the chef’s description of each ramen bowl, how it is made, and how to eat it for the ultimate experience, which is a lovely touch. The meats are chicken, beef, wagyu, and duck ramen selections as well as every Wednesday and Thursday there is a chef’s special ramen. Also, the menu has Japanese side dishes which are worth trying out. If it’s your first time trying out Japanese ramen and other dishes, I advise you to ask the waiter about the Japanese dishes. The katsu sando, a tasty, deep-fried chicken sandwich is a dish I recommend you try if you enjoy good crispy chicken.
Do yourself a favor and visit one of the best spots for ramen in dubai . The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely delicious. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Kinoya. Highly recommended!

Wokyo Noodle Bar
Wokyo noodle bar is a casual Japanese street-style restaurant with trendy interiors and a cozy outdoor seating area. The main noodle bar is located in Alsafa 1 and is easily accessible, alongside other locations in Dubai. Wokyo is known for its quick Asian bites and various types of noodle soups, Japanese ramen, and home-brewed iced teas.
All features of the restaurant had a cool ambiance, from its warm lights to its friendly staff, decorated seating, and its excited crowds. Although the place was packed; yet, it had an entire easy-going vibe where everyone seemed to be cheerful. The employees were exceptionally welcoming and energetic as they explained to us some of the complex dishes on the menu. Alongside the rich menu, Wokyo sells a range of Japanese products such as matcha and namlet soda.
Wokyo’s open kitchen is one of the things that grabbed our attention as we enjoyed watching the colorful medium-sized ramen dishes through the glass window and hearing the sizzling pans. Everything we tried in Wokyo was really delicious, as it felt like a pleasure. We built our own ramen bowls by choosing the sauce, vegetables, and type of broth. All food was prepared with original authenticity by Asian chefs and was served fast and warm. The dish I ordered and highly recommend is the Japanese miso ramen with meat broth. With every bite, the flavors of the spices burst into my mouth but still complemented each other perfectly. The texture of the vegetables and the aroma of the broth were just to the point.
The experience in Wokyo was a mood changer as it left us pleased and satisfied. We would definitely visit Wokyo again with family and friends as it is the perfect place for all. You will certainly find the best ramen in Dubai there!

Maru Udon
Want to try an affordable, totally authentic, and fresh Japanese type of ramen in Dubai? Maru Udon is a great option for you.
Maru Udon is a Japanese restaurant that is well known for their great tasting Udon noodles. Udon is a type of ramen with a single difference that is the thickness of the noodles being used in the dish. The noodles used in the udon are thicker than the ones used in ramen.
Maru Udon’s noodles are chewy, and thick and tasted really good which made us order another bowl to try more types of udon they make. Our favorite dish is the Paitan chicken and for the beverages, we tried the Japanese soda called Ramune which is good as well. What makes Maru Udon special is that their udon is fresh, made daily from scratch using their own machine, totally authentic, and adding to all of that their prices are affordable.
They have outdoor seating with a nice view on Al Jadaf Dubai Canal which made us enjoy the food even more. While the indoor seating had a view of the area where they freshly make the udon. Overall, We were really satisfied with the experience we had at Maru udon in Business Bay branch. The staff was friendly and helpful, the menu had a lot of choices and the food tasted really good. Definitely thinking of having another go to try new dishes and eat that Paitan chicken again!

YUI
If you are looking for authentic handmade Japanese ramen, YUI is the place to go!
YUI is a Japanese ramen house known to be the first spot to make handmade ramen in Dubai. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, with contemporary red decor all over the restaurant. YUI accommodates guests, from the group sitting benches to solo bar stools.
The staff members were very friendly and recommended two signature dishes, the Tantanmen ramen, and the YUI original ramen. The Tantanmen Ramen has nice thick paitan broth with a signature peanut paste making the ramen savory and very rich. Noodles were cooked to perfection and topped with a boiled egg; highly recommended!! The YUI original is an absolute classic, the broth’s base is also paitan that has been cooked for over 10 hours, making it filled with rich chicken aroma and flavors. The ramen is then topped with tender beef and an egg.
We highly recommend their chicken Gyoza. The gyoza has a perfect dough ratio to filling; the chicken was very tender and juicy. You are missing out if you have not tried YUI’s food yet. This destination is guaranteed to leave a smile on your face and tummy.
