Can you believe that Mcdolands has vegan food options, I was just as shocked when I first knew and was very intrigued to give it a try. Mcdonald’s offers different vegan options from salads to burgers. As we all know Mcdolands is well-known for its burgers, so what best to know how good they are than to try their vegan burger? The vegan option is Veggie Burger Deluxe which comes in both spicy and non-spicy options. You can customize it however you’d like in your burger.
The standard option is what I tried comes with Slivered Onion, Grill Veggie Patty, Lettuce, Tomato, and Sesame Seed Bun. The patty is well cooked and juicy, and the combination of the other vegetables on top of it gives an exquisite tasting experience, overall the burger was really good and I genuinely enjoyed it. Though they have different branches located throughout the UAE. This branch itself is located in Makani mall Al Shamkhah, the food court. The environment is very family-friendly.

Wendy’s
Another fast food chain that came as a shock to me with the fact that they offer good vegan food. So I decided to try Wendy’s vegan food menu items. Is it worthwhile? As burgers are what Wendy’s is renowned for, the vegan option is the Veggie meal that comes both as a single or a double, a veggie burger with potatoes, peas, carrots, sweet corn, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, onion, tomatoes, and crisp lettuce on a toasted bun with fries and a beverage.
The burger was delivered to my table toasting hot which only shows how fresh it is, the patty was thick and juicy. I do believe it’s worth the try. Wendy’s has a lot of branches scattered throughout the UAE, this specific branch is located in the food court of Bawabat Al Sharq Mall. The location is family-friendly and has the space to host a big group.

I tried their Cheese-Burger. It comes with ketchup, mayo, vegan cheddar cheese, with pickles inside and served with crispy fries on the side. It was the first time in my life trying a vegan burger and I was hesitant at the beginning to be honest because I’m not vegan, but it went beyond my expectation! It tasted so good and was light on the stomach and the flavours were so vibrant and rich. I couldn’t believe that’s not an actual meet! The fires were even the best part, they came hot and crispy with a small ketchup box.
Overall, the staff were very nice and accommodating. I didn’t take a long time waiting for my order and received hot fries and the vegan Cheese-Burger almost warm. That means they prepare it fresh and not like other typical fast food that has everything ready to heat up. As an Emirati, I am so proud of having a local vegan food place run by an Emirati. I highly recommend giving it a chance and I would try their vegan tacos next time cause I have heard that they use an authentic Mexican recipe. If you’re looking to impress your non vegan friends, then this is your place.

Bloom offers breakfast, power bowls, Burgers & sandwiches, soups, pizza, desserts, and power drinks that are examples of good vegan food. I tried their VEGAN DON’T BITE BURGER which includes vegetable patty, guacamole, lettuce, jalapeno, vegan “mozzarella”, brioche bun, served with sweet and sour slaw. It was not my first time to try this burger, when I go back to order from bloom my ultimate choice is always this tasty vegan dish. As a dessert I had the CHOCO MOUSSE which was delicious, and tasted really rich.
