Vibrissae Cat Cafe might actually be one of the most aesthetic cafes in Dubai. Situated in two distinct areas of Dubai (Mirdif Hills and Al Wasl), the café offers a unique haven for both cat enthusiasts and coffee connoisseurs alike. Upon entering the café, I was greeted warmly by the staff and serenaded by the gentle purring of the resident cats.
PRICES PER PERSON: 50-200 AED
The ambiance was truly heartwarming, perfect for de-stressing and unwinding. With open windows enhancing its aesthetic charm, especially on a delightful, cloudy day, the café is thoughtfully designed, providing plentiful seating and space for both guests and resident cats. The menu consisted of different selections of beverages and snacks to satisfy anyone’s cravings.
Parents bringing young children should be aware that kids aged 3 to 12 must be accompanied by adults for safety purposes. The standard pass is 50 dirhams, going up to 200 dirhams if one wants to stay for an unlimited time. The cafe was a bit packed at the time I went, which was around 3pm. During my visit, I noticed many children cuddling and playing with the cats.
The cafe is located in a complex residence, meaning parking can get a bit tricky when it comes to how close you can park to the cafe. However, it compensates for the pretty view, and many options around the area. The cats in the cafe are more relaxed and chill, not preferring to run around as much. Guests are treated to complimentary snacks upon entering the cozy room, where furry friends eagerly await their company. All in all, the coffee was great, and the toy options and seating were accommodating to all.

Ailuromania Cat Cafe
One of the best cat cafes in Dubai I personally enjoyed the Ailuromania Cat Cafe the most. Known to be the first cat cafe in the country and the Middle East, it’s also one of the friendliest cats you’ll ever get the chance to cuddle.
The café offers 18 diverse cat breeds available for adoption at a fee of 700 dirhams for interested individuals.
PRICES PER PERSON: 30-39 AED
The cats are active and will want to jump around as you throw their toys around. With little steps all over the wall, they love to stare at you as you sip your choice of drink. At Ailuromania Cat Cafe, they’re open from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM during the week, except Tuesdays. There are multiple options when it comes to entry fees in this cafe; they range from 30-39 dirhams, depending on the menu package.
Each guest is allowed a maximum stay of one hour. Speaking of the activities; this cafe provides plenty of activities that are open to kids and adults. Some of these activities included yoga with the cats, feeding the cats, taking Polaroid pictures with the cats, and reading novels with the cats! Just a heads up: Ailuromania Cat Cafe is located in a buzzing part of Jumeirah, Make sure to leave early to find some good parking near the area in case you are driving to the cafe. If you’re looking for a place to release some stress and enjoy a good cup of tea, Ailuromania is the place to go.

In Dubai, the Meowtropolis Cat Café provides a unique and comfortable setting where cat enthusiasts may relax and take in the company of cute cats while enjoying their preferred beverages. Nestled in the heart of Dubai’s Lake Shore Tower – Cluster Y – Jumeirah Lake Towers, this café provides a tranquil setting for visitors to interact with a variety of friendly and lively cats. As I stepped into the Meowtropolis Cat Café, secluded from Dubai’s bustling center, I was welcomed by its warm and inviting atmosphere. A pleasant group of meows and purrs welcomed me as the local cats walked around.
PRICES PER PERSON: 50-250 AED
Prices range from 50 AED to 250 AED per hour to an infinite number of hours per day. This place is family-friendly, so you may bring your children, who must be between the ages of 4 and 12.

Along with a variety of drinks, the café offers everything from refreshing teas to coffees. I enjoyed my tea while watching the cats play and curl up for a nap. I left the café with a heart full of warmth and memories, already looking forward to my next visit.
