Abu Dhabi is one of the finest coffee cities in UAE! The top cafes in Abu Dhabi are listed below for you to experience. We bring you the most peaceful and delightful coffee breaks from our local expertise.
Emirati Coffee
If you’ve been to the UAE previously, you are well aware that Arabic coffee and dates are the first things you’re greeted with. Click on the word “Arabic coffee” to learn more about it. One of the top Emirati coffee stores in Abu Dhabi is the Emirati Coffee shop. Emirati coffee, as implied by the name, specializes in producing authentic UAE coffee using premium ingredients.
Arabic coffee pots and cups known as “Dallah and Fanjan” are used in the cafe to serve Emirati coffee. They also serve a range of coffees, including Arabic coffee, Turkish coffee, and specialty coffee either cold or hot. Plus hot chocolate, and tea. As well they offer a great dessert selection that includes cakes and croissants.
Moreover, they provide a variety of coffee beans from South America, Central America, Africa, Asia, and Exotic. Also, they sell high-quality and reasonably priced handcrafted Arabic cups, specialty coffee capsules, coffee drip bags, tea sticks, and tea powder.
The shop is located in Yas Mall, yet when you enter, you won’t feel like you’re in the mall because of the shop’s vibrant colors and exquisite design. Both the pistachio cake and the Emirati coffee we tasted were fantastic. The coffee especially tasted like homemade Emirati coffee. You can see their menu right here.

Covent Garden Cafe
One of the finest coffee shops in Abu Dhabi that we reviewed is Covent Garden Cafe. We suggest it because of its cozy atmosphere and wonderful coffee beverages.
There is seating outdoors and indoors in the coffee shop. It’s lovely to set outdoors in the morning, evenings, and at night. They have a large variety of desserts, croissants, and snacks on the menu as well as plates of pasta. But what sets Covent Garden Cafe apart from other cafes is its coffee taste.
We tried the saffron milk cake and flat white coffee, both of which were excellent. They also have a shelf where they sell coffee beans and coffee pots and kettles. Plus they have refrigerators for productive families where they store the appetizers and sweets to sell to shop customers.
The staff was professional, and they served us with charm and kindness. The store was very clean, peaceful, and well-kept. The shop is a villa in Shakhbout City that transfers you from the active city to a more isolated place.

Cave Cafe
CAVE cafe is a unique dining experience that takes inspiration from nature. Located on Al Khor Street in Rabdan, Abu Dhabi, this coffee shop offers an immersive culinary journey that combines fine dining with the beauty of nature.
As soon as you enter the cafe, you are transported to a world of wonders. The cafe is designed to resemble a cave, with rock formations, dim lighting, and a calming ambiance, making it among the top distinctive cafes in Abu Dhabi. The menu features tapas-style dishes that are beautifully presented and full of flavor.
The menu at Cave is focused on tapas-style dishes, which are perfect for sharing with friends or family. I especially enjoyed the “Churros” which are warm, crispy pastries paired perfectly with the rich chocolate sauce that makes it a decadent and satisfying dessert. Another standout was their exclusive “Ice Spanish Latte” which is a cold coffee, and I must say, it was truly a unique and delicious coffee experience. The blond of flavors and texture in the coffee made it a perfect complement to my dessert.

Everything felt thoughtful and well-executed.
