Best Study Cafes in Abu Dhabi – Your Local Guide

Sick of the noise around you at home? Of your siblings nagging and distracting you whenever you try studying? Then this review is for you. We all seem to sometimes prefer studying in cafes as a break from the usual boring routine, so work cafes are always a good option. We tend to usually choose quiet cafes, or study cafes. Here is a guide to the best study cafes in Abu Dhabi suitable for students. Youth Hub Fae Cafe, James Cafe, The Bridge Lifestyle Hub, and Cloud Spaces. Wherever I am, there is always a study cafe near me! For all my fellow students struggling during midterm season; we got you!

Fae Cafe – Youth Hub Abu Dhabi

Popular among both students and workers in Abu Dhabi for its great coffee and good location, Fae Cafe, being one of the best study cafes in Abu Dhabi, is a suitable place for studying and the best cafe to work from. They offer a wide variety of caffeinated drinks, all day breakfast, dessert, and a lunch/dinner menu. We recommend their Spanish latte, a local favorite that never disappoints, along with their cheese croissant for an early morning study session. They even have a student offer of a lunchbox set menu which you could redeem by presenting your student ID! Whether you’re a student looking for places to study in or an employee simply looking for a cafe to work from, Fae Cafe is one of the great study spots to consider.

Since the cafe is located at Youth Hub Abu Dhabi, it has a productive, creative ambiance and is a quiet place to study and a good cafe to work. You would most likely be surrounded by other students typing away on their computers. We genuinely enjoyed our experience and it was one of the best places to study. The environment motivates you to get things done, and yes! Even if you’re a hardcore procrastinator like myself. We got so much done during such a short amount of time. I’m sure you will too!

The building is huge, with ceiling length windows that let the sunlight in, and has a great view of the sea from a distance. Not to mention the essential part that we all seem to be looking for, a cafe to study at with WiFi, which is free at Fae Cafe! In addition, the parking area is wide and free for all my fellow students on a budget!

Prices

The entry fee to Youth Hub is free of charge. Fae Cafe’s drinks menu ranges from 18-40 AE. While their food menu ranges from 20-58 AED. You can access their full menu on their website!

James Cafe – A Great Study Cafe in Abu Dhabi!

Just like any other student, we are always looking for a good study spot, for a cozy study cafe, or a work cafe where we can be productive. So we were more than thrilled when we discovered James Café. With a pleasant interior that is charming to the eye, a lot of bright space, and cozy comfortable chairs. James Café is one of the best choices to consider as a café to work from.

When we first arrived, the pleasant lighting and the wide space was the first thing that we noticed, as well as the place being a relatively quiet cafe. We even discussed it with the staff and they mentioned that in designing the place, the team wanted to reflect the balance between beautiful natural lights to create a space that is both welcoming and calm! James Cafe seems like it’s been specifically designed to be a quiet cafe to welcome students and workers in, providing counters for laptops and tablets, free WiFi, and cozy lighting. Making it a perfect study café in Abu Dhabi.

Besides being one of the best cafés for working, we enjoyed our studying experience at James Café because of the delicious food. We would highly recommend trying their Abu Dhabi Salad for brunch and their tiramisu for dessert. If you are looking for something that will wake you up and help you get all your tasks done in one sitting, their nitro cold brew should be your go to! James is a suitable café to sit and work.

THE BRIDGE; Lifestyle Hub

Although there are several places to study in Abu Dhabi, a great choice would be the cafe at The Bridge Lifestyle Hub, which in our humble opinion is one of the best places to study that we would recommend. The Bridge is a wellness hub that recently opened last year, it aims to improve the wellbeing and lifestyles of the community and create a space welcoming to everyone. In detail, The Bridge has different purposes to visit, but we visited their cafe as it seemed like the perfect study spot. We were certainly not disappointed as it turned out to be one of the best study cafes in Abu Dhabi.

The Bridge is located at Al Qana in Abu Dhabi and has different areas and places to study, you could honestly choose any comfortable corner and start studying or working, which is exactly what we did. In addition, the interior and themes of The Bridge played a huge part in motivating us, as they are creative, welcoming, and attractive. The lighting is quiet and comfortable which also helped us focus on our work and avoid eyestrain and headaches. Moreover, the building is very huge, with wide areas and several corners for different individuals and groups, large windows with a great view, it overlooks a waterfront and allows the sunshine in, it’s definitely a choice to consider when looking for a study cafe in Abu Dhabi!

The Oxygen Bar, Cloud Spaces – A Quiet Study Cafe in Abu Dhabi

If you want to experience a quiet cafe and a pleasant place to study in Abu Dhabi that has several locations, the Oxygen Bar in Cloud Spaces is a good option to deem as a study spot. The Oxygen Bar is one of the best cafes to work from, as it is calm and quiet because everyone else goes there to work and get things done.

Good news! The Oxygen Bar also offers a free WiFi connection, which is fast and efficient. We recommend checking out their coffee or one of their refreshing cold beverages, along with their unique sandwiches and cookies. We personally tried their piccolo, and we definitely approve of their coffee! It was terrific, as were their prices; the piccolo only costs 11 AED which was surprising considering how overpriced other coffee shops can be.

Furthermore, the atmosphere inspires you to do your work and study; the Oxygen Bar is an outstanding option for a study cafe in Abu Dhabi or if you’re a worker seeking a work cafe. The cafe’s interior is bright and modern, inspiring creativity and boosting energy. We enjoyed our experience and recommend that you also join the Cloud community so you can enjoy a work-friendly cafe, and connect with others. Overall, we loved the experience of studying here, and we believe that you will too. The atmosphere is calm, and accessing the places was easy, we highly recommend it.

Prices

The Oxygen Bar’s prices are considered affordable and suitable for students. The beverages vary from 8-22 AED, while their meals vary from 10-40 AED. Their premium package costs 225 AED for 11 drinks, while the basic package costs 200 AED for 8 beverages. Entrance passes are 50 AED for an hour, and a full-day pass costs 150 AED with two complimentary drinks.

Location

You can find the Oxygen Bar on the first floor of the Yas Mall at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, which is a perfect location with little traffic during the week but may get busy on weekends. No worries though, Cloud Spaces is quiet no matter how busy the outside world is!
