Your journey has started!

Once you have arrived on Jubail island, a buggy driver will be waiting for you at the Pura Eco Retreat parking area. It will take an 8-10 minute buggy ride for you to reach the venture. When you arrive at the guest house, you will notice the enthusiasm of the staff and the positive energy that they give you. It will make you feel as if you don’t want to leave the beautiful place. A special thanks to Mr. Sylvester, the tour guide. He gave us that positive energy and excitement to go there again. Mr. Sylvestre will then prepare the “Golden Vanilla” tea or tropical mojito of your own choice and finally begin your camping journey. 

Moreover, there are three main places to sit and enjoy the beautiful view and weather. The first place that you will get to see is the guest house, which is like a welcoming house, and behind it is an area where you can sit and enjoy the view of the ocean. If you visit the location in the morning or during breakfast time, you can sit in the glass room or also appreciate the nice weather and sit outdoors. Another sitting area will be on the right side, where they typically encourage guests to go during the evening and have dinner in the midst of the sand.

By glamping, you can come and stay for a night camping in the Bedouin tents for chilling while camping,  with the option of “Minimalist Chic Domes” to experience the complete camping in UAE getaway.

The Al-Haffar Desert is very suitable for overnight desert camping in the UAE. The location is between Abu Dhabi and Al-Ain, specifically “Al Wathba”. Also, what makes this location perfect is that there is an  ADNOC station by the name of “Sakhbet Al-Haffar”, close to the camping spot. This means that you should not worry if you forget any of your outdoor camping supplies, as you will surely find what you are missing there. Also, guess what? If you don’t feel like cooking, the ADNOC station has KFC and a cafe!

Al Ain camping ‘Al Bada’

We have suggested a few places where you can go camping in the UAE. So, how about you go farther into the desert? We suggest you go to Al Ain and camp there. The area is called Al Bada, and it’s always known for the desert, and people do camp out there from time to time. It is an isolated area, but you will not get completely lost there. You will get to see farm areas, and there is a main road that will help you if you end up getting lost. So, don’t get worried about that during your camping time there. 

If you are on your way to the camping area from Abu Dhabi, you are going to pass by a location called Al Batha Reserves. You are going to see a supermarket called Grand Mart. If you want to stop at the supermarket and buy camping supplies like firewood or grill supplies, you might find other items that you cannot find anywhere in Al Ain there. Also, the street where the camping spot is located is called Nahil Rd and you can reach ADNOC station on the same road. To find the perfect camping spot for you, get into the dunes out there, go as far into the desert as you want, and decide on where you want your camp site set up.

What you must eat while camping!

Every country has its own set of traditional camping rituals, especially camping in the UAE. Most families go camping during the winter, which is the best season for outdoor adventures.
