Al-Khawaneej residents, you didn’t have to gatekeep this place!! This small coffee shop by the suburb makes the most amazing cold drip coffee. You have our word on this! XO’s location makes it very convenient to drive-thru during rush hour (for now). The exterior feels like a hidden cafe in western Europe where you can take your bike and grab a coffee. This place has its own twist by providing iced gahwa aka iced coffee with vanilla icecream (known as affogato). Also, you can have your coffee with well-baked sweets such as an eclair. For those who like to snap, the packaging of their coffee is so minimal and more like a dark-aesthetic.

How did we discover this place? For all those who live in Dubai, we pretty much pass by Al-Khawaneej on a daily basis. So, we naturally searched for a drive thru near us coffee as we were visiting our relatives and from here on, we made it a friday ritual! We pass by this Starbucks drive thru almost everyday! We truly like the way this drive thru cafe is built because we could drive past it without hitting a curb. This Starbucks branch offers fast services and the staff are quite friendly . Also , it is open for 24 hours which means even if we craved it past midnight or at dawn we can still have our drive thru coffee , drinks , or snacks while chilling in our car.

Our first experience with Brew drive-thru service was like a maze to us. Thinking about the traditional drive-thru services where the entrance is from the street side, Brew drive thru coffee shop has it in the opposite way, imagine it! We were amazed that they did not only provide coffee but also follow the trend of combining other ingredients with coffee, such as Matcha that we recently tried (#matcha lovers). We ended up ordering from Brew drive-thru service every time we passed by Jumeirah Street.

We directly headed to the drive thru window to order so we could shoot the exterior. They have made over 10 branches around the UAE.They have a unique layout of the drive thru coffee where you can either park, order your food and enjoy or go in like a drive thru style.

We were craving coffee but didn’t feel like leaving the car. We decided it was best if we want to get hot drinks.For all my strong coffee lovers you should try their flat white. Anyways, When we reached the drive thru coffee site we noticed how spacious the place was. Not to mention how lovely and cheerful the staff were. They had good energy that made the experience much more enjoyable.
Definitely would recommend you check their menu out since there were lots of options to choose from but not a lot of space to fit in.

After finishing up with errands. We wanted to get coffee on the way back home. So we came across a coffee place named surge.We went to try it out so we used the drive thru since we were not in the mood to go down . While ordering the drinks it caught our attention how fast their service was .It could be because we just got drinks but definitely felt like it was less than a minute.
The coffee tasted so smooth and rich with flavour. We definitely suggest you stop by and try their iced drinks.
