They were established in 2014 in Jumeirah Kite Beach, Dubai, which makes them one of the first food trucks and best made in the UAE. One of the trucks had a very crazy, attractive, and funky sketch known as Mr. Brisket, they have the best serving and stuff, they are so quick and delicious food. And a great spot to spend with a friend and made the park an attractive site for visitors.

Food trucks menus and price index

Food trucks all around the emirates are quite different from each other in terms of what cuisine and special innovative dishes the truck choose to be famous for. In addition, food trucks can be serving everything from frozen treats like ice cream and desserts to fresh hot meals that are prepared on the spot.

Customers can find many cuisines from all around the world such as burgers, donuts, coffee, fries, bubble tea, Indian food, sushi, pizza, seafood, etc. We have reviewed menus and prices of food trucks and found that each has a range of prices for what they are serving, and as it gets more innovative and uses technology in their services as the costs get higher. A typical food truck would have a price index from 10 dhs to 200 dhs.

We went through many other menus of coffee shops where the prices began at 14 dhs for a Turkish coffee and went up to 50 dhs for a unique coffee drink. Regional cuisine prices varied from 1 dhs for a Karak tea and went up to 65 dhs for meals like Harees or a rice dish such as Machboos and Biryani. while Desserts serving food trucks regularly are more expensive, ranging from 8 dhs for an ice cream cone to 120 dhs or more for desserts and cakes that look Instagramable and social media material.

Thus, seafood costs more than a dessert or a family meal. Starting from 25 dhs for four Turkish oysters stuffed with rice and going above 200 dhs for a seafood plate that consists of a variety of sea creatures. The most common and wanted in a menu is street food, it can exist in any menu starting at 15 dhs for a regular small chicken burger from a simple food truck serving fast food, and up to a 100 dhs and above for a burger that was made from wagyu beef or even a vegetarian burger.

The operations of owning a food truck in Dubai

To buy or rent a food truck you have to create a strong business plan. Then submit the plan to the Dubai municipality so they can approve it and officially become a restaurant owner. Your business plan should contain your idea, budgets, and plan activities that must convince the Dubai municipality that the street food would be unique and innovative than the others . For that, you also have to obtain a health and safety certificate which is called HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point). This will give you assurance on the safety of your food which you intend to sell and the kitchen. After getting the HACCP certification and approval from Dubai municipality you have to choose a great location for your food truck. In addition, you have to research to know about the places which are the best for casual dining.

All over,  Dubai is a better city for food truck owners and much more suitable spots are in Kite Beach, Last Exit, and Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The food truck almost costs between $70,000 and $80,000. You can own one of the three. Such as; new food trucks which cost between $100,000-$175,000, used food trucks that cost between $50,000-$100,000, or leasing a food truck which cost between $2,000-$3,000 each month. After deciding which type of truck you want to have, find a reputable truck dealer. Moreover, it’s important to have a license which means the passport of your success. You need to have both a business license and a driver’s license. The business license will allow you to operate in Dubai city. Typically a business license can cost between $50 to $500. A UAE driving license is needed to drive to the food truck where you want.
